This is an annual award, which rewards schools for delivery of the national PE, School Sport and Club Links strategy.  According to the PESSCL survey Schools received the mark if,

  • 90% or more of pupils across the school were doing at least 2 hours high quality PE and school sport a week.

Nationally, 14,603 of the primary schools taking part in the annual school sport survey in 2006/07 met the standard and have been awarded Activemark 2007.
